Our name has long been equated with the world's most exclusive train. In the 1920s the Orient Express developed a reputation for glamour and intrigue as it whisked the leading figures of the age between the great cities of Europe and beyond. Today, the train may no longer carry Kings and spies but the presence of such celebrated historic and fictional personalities can still be felt. There are many ways to experience the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, from one-way train journeys between great European cities to inclusive tours with luxurious accommodations included. Our British Pullman, A Belmond Train, and England carriages, which have day car seating, will carry you in style between London and the channel, and vice-versa, where you will be escorted by our hostesses onto luxury coaches for your Euro tunnel shuttle service. With 85 double cabins, with upper and lower berths and 12 single cabins, the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express can hold a maximum of 182 guests. Journeys begin in March and run until October and include journeys to Venice, Paris, Vienna, Prague, Budapest, Istanbul, London, and Scandinavia. The cabins are the original 1920s models. Many cabins have adjoining doors and can be converted to 'Cabin Suites'. The three restaurant cars offer a truly magical dining experience, from scenic lunches to romantic dinners, whilst the bar car is a glamorous setting for pre-dinner drinks and cocktails with fellow guests.
